Utilities Management
Intuitive; Adaptable; Fast
Many of our customers have small staffs to handle utility customer service requests and take customer payments. When a person handling the front window is sick, goes on vacation or leaves, other employees must quickly be able to learn to serve your customers, without a lot of additional training.
That used to be a major problem, but now with our web-based utility modules, utility managers have more flexibility on reassigning people because our intuitive navigation makes the system easy to learn and easy to use. Employees who use the system infrequently can still serve the customer well.
But easy to use does not mean that the software lacks power or adaptability. Our customers are able to implement any rate policy that their governing body adopts and to want to make it convenient for their customers to do business with them.
A few ways this is possible are:
- Use automated credit checking to quickly determine deposit requirements and payment of past dues before new services are provided
- Define an unlimited number of billing services and rates, whether they are metered or non-metered, simple or complicated
- Email a response to a customer directly from our software
- Your customer can access their balance on-line
For many utility managers, giving good customer service means being able to quickly and accurately serve a customer when they come into the office or call. In order to do this, we have designed Logics Utility Management Module to allow your service representative to be able to quickly:
- Locate the customer's record
- View all of the customer's pertinent information in front of them
- Quickly record the information related to the transaction
- Record all deposit and administrative fees at time of application
- Print a completed application for service for the customer to review and sign
- Generate all pertinent service order documentation to activate new customer service
- Automatically scan drivers licenses and put the information into the system and save a digital image of the drivers license
- Attach scanned documents or digital photographs
- Scan bar-coded bills to quickly process payments
